Camp L’Arcada
L’Arcada is located in the valley of Sant Miguel de Campmajor in the province of Girona. It sits on 750 acres in the northeastern part of Spain, in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains near the Mediterranean Sea and the French border.
L’Arcada, a ministry of Greater Europe Mission (GEM), is dedicated to proclaiming the love of Jesus Christ to kids, youth, and families in a beautiful camp setting. This includes serving, training, sharing, encouraging, exhorting, and many other activities that can be carried out in the camp setting. People have a way of opening up their lives in the camp and conference setting. God is using L’Arcada in the lives of non-believers and believers alike to help them grow in their walk with God through Jesus Christ. The Lord has been using L’Arcada to help children, young people, and adults move through a process of understanding the gospel, accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord, entering into discipleship programs, and becoming part of a church plant or existing church.
There are many opportunities for groups and individuals to serve at L’Arcada during the spring and summer.
Our onsite camp season is from mid-June through September. During the summer, we usually have seven evangelistic camps, seven discipleship/leadership training programs and one family camp. The camping season ends with several church and youth retreats in the fall. Throughout the fall, winter and spring, besides preparing all the summer camps and training programs, we engage in conferences, promotion and staff recruitment trips, as well as carrying out other training programs and retreats.
We look to the future and the possibility of expansion and winterized facilities. We covet your prayers and are humbled by the great responsibility and opportunity given us to share and serve together in His work in Spain.
